Watch the agent loop in Claude Code

The solution has two halves that must stay apart. Claude Code builds the synthetic pack, and a separate headless session does the task, so the trace shows an agent exploring files rather than a conversation with you. The summariser then reads the stream-json events and groups them into turns. The decision that matters is what counts as a turn: each assistant event carries one content block, so a response with a sentence and three Read calls arrives as several events sharing one message.id.
