Module 2 · The Jev API · Lesson 4
Choice, Score and Noul
When to use each of Jev's three question primitives, how to write criteria, levels and yes/no questions that give reliable probabilities, and how to test a Choice for option-order bias.
By the end of this lesson you can
- Pick the right primitive (Choice, Score or Noul) for a decision, and recognise when a question belongs in code instead
- Write Choice criteria with a full option list, an escape option and contrastive structured descriptions
- Write Score levels that describe situations, read the expected score correctly and normalise it for composites
- Phrase Noul questions with one condition and high = yes, and set thresholds in code
- Test a Choice for option-order bias by rotating its options and measuring flips and probability spread
